My friend, it might look great now but you'll end up miserable, sad and alone. Marriage is what you make it and you cannot judge it by what others are going through. The same thinking can be applied to everything eg most businesses (like marriages) fail in the first 5 years - so does that mean you'll never venture into business?
Watched MJ's story on TV sometime back, and i believe if he had married and had a proper family, he will still be alive today.
Money is not everything, Money is important but not the most important. On the other hand i will not encourage anyone to stay in a marriage if they are not happy, for instance a disrespectful wife or a violent husband is a no no.
Anyways you cannot get a divorce if you are not married, i also think you hang out with the wrong people, you have never lived with a woman, how can u call it a misery yet you have never been married? is that what your friends tell you, your dad? The way you address your dad speaks volumes.
As mentioned before, a gal-friend is not a wife, there is no commitment, i do not know of any lady who wants to be a gal-friend forever, maybe yours does....
