I think that the coming weeks is the time to collect at a throw away price some of the stocks i been salivating for. I think we are entering the next phase of landing. Tighten your safety belts if it happens coz it might be so cruel than what we experienced the last few weeks.

looking at the stocks today the sluggish stocks;neveready, Kenya re, olympia,AK have increased prices.
will the market really go lower as we are all waiting for?

Might it be like in early January when we were waiting for the bull only for the bear to show up?

No one can give you an honest question to this question. The truth is, do not time the market, give the market time.Shame on you

Just to be a little flippant, I believe I can give an honest question to this question. Laughing out loudly I need a little laughter in the wake of current volatile market conditions.

Two days of losses to the nse. Significant or not significant? Only time will tell. I see the market going lower, bargains may yet again abound. Whats the deal with scan group. Any hidden risks? It is a lovely speculators share, 45-53 with ease. Almost 20% in no time.

i beleive this stock market cannt go any lower. bargain hunters will keep it in check...
this whipsawing up and down up and down the pivotal 4k marks sucks.
but i guess we shld get used to it as there's no much volume to support the index up...

The big boys will see to it that the market remains low. Selling 2x shares to cause a significant drop in price and buying back 4x shares at lower price. The NSE index will fall gradually {as it did in 2007) . And when we all breathe a sign.of relief after 2012 elections an unseen financial chrisis will resurface in a remote corner of the world..........my advice.......watch foreighn investors activity......we shall have a mini rally towards the end of the year to lure us back to the market followed wiyh a massive sell off catching many pants down.

Two things

(1) in stocks one should not depend on one stock exchange alone. As we are lamenting there is bullish run on petroleum stocks in US, Canada and Hong kong markets !!!

(ii) One should not depend only on stocks for a living as there are many things beyond our control besides the basic fundamentals.

Man shall not live on bread alone.
Whichever capital market you are in, they are all bread.
Try Pizza,Escargot,Pinyatta....whatever.

Within the borders of this country, there are a lot of emerging markets in the towns people used to call small towns(Rural).
Just take a long leave and drive within Kenya and you will be surprised.
This County thing might actually work.Really work.

I exited KPLC today in favour of KK who I'm sure will be announcing some good things this week hopefully. With the constant blackouts, if KPLC were a person, I don't think I would trust him as he can't do the one thing he's expected to do. That's my logic. On the other hand I think KK would make a good friend.

BBI will solve it
