Does the investment sayin " buy when there's blood on the streets.Especially if the blood is yours" apply here . Coz definitely my blood is on the street coz of a.k ...

But i see a takeover or some sort of merger coz the traditional isps are really getting squeezed by the telcos....maybe this share is trading lower to our advantage because with such a cut throat competition from the telcos there's bound to be mo' and mo' strategic alliances...
i'll definitely add mo' at 10.00 and wait for the price to rise...

QW . . . .you have some balls alright! If one bought AK shares worth 1.3million in Nov they'd only be worth 1million now. . . and you want to plough more.Arent there more counters that can do well? Why invest more cash in a company that gave a 55% decline in revenues?

Access Kenya is becoming another Neveready. Its share willgo as low as sh.5.The Somens brothers strategy of growing the company was a very expensive and poor.
The company will go same way as Hutchings Biemer

I have Just read THIS and am really scared for my small stake on this company....I was really foolish to buy it @34 while the PE was 30...but I believed in the company but now it seems this share is teaching me a painful lesson:NEVER EVER BUY INTO THE HYPE.

What had you seen in them? I'm asking an honest question because I really never saw much room for progress even at the time of listing. The only way I was seeing them going since the onset was south.

BBI will solve it

If they had concentrated in their Core Business they would not be facing their current predicament.

Offering ICT solutions were its key business, helping corporates and SME reap the benefit of internet,Thats where the money was, once it ventured off into Infrastructural provision thats where they went wrong.

Their Home.co.ke portal was a step in the right direction in that to fully utilize the increased bandwidth content provision was necessary and up to now a portal that offers relevant content would reap big in this market.

openview still offers hope but its quite disheartening to see safaricom take business which AK should be the one making in particular the KBA deal.

The somen have experience and technical know how to turn around the company I dont know why they are so hesitant or confused in their business strategy.

This story was covered by Nairobi Law magazine sometime back.

There is nothing illegal with what the Somen brothers did but its immoral.

This one will be a speculator's play.

Dip in after it breaks below year low @6.55.
6/- or below is a good entry for a bounce to 7 - 8. Then take your loot.

Access Kenya is a really good buy at the current prices but yes as our friend mlennyma says you need to have a metal heart to invest in counters like Access,Eveready,Sameer. This stocks when the market becomes bull again you can make lots of capital gains but you have to be patient until the bull.
