That has wiped off about KES 0.50 off the NAV/share of KenRe. With an existing NAV/share of KenRe of 30-ish... Can KenRe bear the loss of KES 0.50?

I am a Warren Buffett fan. And love moments like these when (misplaced) fear runs rampant.

Smart guys left long time ago. They never allowed their stake's fate to chance. PE Helios exited at a 10% premium when Equity was rallying around kes 50/- is like they had prior information. Of course they must have read Jubilee manifesto keenly and made a decision based on facts. Those who bought their stake e.g NSSF were just sentimental. Some of the fund managers and CEOs from government institutions are simple mediocre political appointees. Bleeding continues in a few hours from now.

PE Helios went home with more than 300% capital gain!!!

NSSF managers do not really care. They are not investing their money!

@VVS
I was just clarifying to spikes that NSSF no longer have a stake in equity not whether NSSF managers really care
