Im undecided on the cleanliness of HFCK, especially given that britam has +40% shareholding now. But another part of me tells me there should be no problem HFCK comes under the CBK [its regulator] which is far more involved in the banks audits than the IRA. The CBK doesn't want banks to close down [see how its trying to stave off a collapse of Dubai Bank] so it would come in & force HFCK to clean up the books. Greedy when others are fearful. Comparison between HFCK and HAFR on a 3yr timeframe vs NSE20. The verdict is very clear! Meaning if one had invested in HF in the 3yr time frame they'd still be in the green while the opposite for HAFR. If one had invested in NSE20 as index fund the HF investor would still be above that investor while the index investor would still be way above the HAFR investor. Verdict: Not only does HAFR fair badly vs HF but also against the index (NSE20). HAFR has been clobbered by the market even during the bullish period And now both HF and HAFR face a CB that has decided to chop off liquidity from the market. What will happen to HAFR $15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!

I wonder what will happen with the 700 million case HFCK have. That is about a year's worth of profit in one claim. I guess that is the reason of the nosedive in the share. I will be a collector at below 18 because of the rights issue cash in the mix Link: http://www.businessdaily...8/-/qkt6hfz/-/index.htmlA successful man is not he who gets the best, it is he who makes the best from what he gets.

@mutaga. Don't disembark too early like last time. My collection range for this is 15-20. But it looks like we are almost there. Funny how hfck and Nic are both trading below rights price. @hisah. If your extreme sendiments come to fruition it my be lightning striking twice here at 14-15 The investor's chief problem - and even his worst enemy - is likely to be himself

Wonders never cease to happen. Its like the share was jinxed by the rights! Just for the sake of it, what is the current PE after factoring in the rights.
