The Sonkoigathe alliance will almost certainly win but am not sure if it will stand the test in the long run.
Mr Igathe could go down in history as the first deputy governor to resign after just a year or so.

Didn't last even a year!

This one you saw it from very far.

On his twitter post,he claimed the reason was inability to earn the trust of the governor.

Igathe is CS material, not deputy governor. Apewe kiti.

BBI will solve it

That would be a very useless ministry & would just waste public funds. Jubilee at its best.

I think what he wanted to get is attention; otherwise he would have resigned with immediate effect. He will most definately be 'convinced'to stay on.I also want to agree with @ 2012 that he will be more suitable as cs

Igathe is a failure. He should go back to corporate world na aachane na politics. Expecting to find a comfort zone in an elective or political appointed position is akin to finding sand storms in Antarctica. Even ouru has not earned Mashamba's trust and vice versa but they work or seem to work in harmony.

I think Igathe is not used to working under somenone and finds it difficult to fit into a position with no decision making powers unlike what he was used to. He doesnt understand why an MCA has more decision making powers than him
If Obiero did it, Who Am I?

Quite seemingly the case, wrong move by Igathe anyway because Sonko was the only way to remove Kidero, am sure Uhunye na Ruto watanyoa pembe za Sonko pole pole, everything will be fine, Igathe is being "impatient" and has a lot to learn, hata kama ni kujifanya mtu msafi, i did not personally want to vote sonko, but it was the best "political" solution for Nairobi, because NOW Nairobi is firmly under JP and not coalitions, personalities, tribes etc.

Igathe is no failure. Just like that Uchumi CEO, he has a big card up his sleeve. It's either for CS (but I doubt), UN or a regional CEO of a multinational. Watch this space, nobody just leaves a position of power just like that.

BBI will solve it

Ebu tuambie what is so special about Igathe? or that failure Uchumi CEO, Jina tu? Ama its the way his name always appears in newspapers for ages? Mbona ameongea kizungu mbaya hivo juu ya sonko basi if he is going for something else? Whats the need? We don't need to " worship" people like igathe, in risk analysis he gets 0, "erratic", kama 'PK syndrome' of another type, kurukaka ruka kila mahali, maybe kina radio stations and some maringo organisations who are mesmerized by kisungu mingi and "big names".
