Congrats to UTD. Well played. You wonder where is this same UTD in other games..... Keep the pressure going. Looking at the table, EPL will go to the wire with like 3/4 teams capable of lifting the trophy!!!

it seems like each point will count this time around. the team that drops points against funny teams will live to regret that. ile mambo ya teams kushinda league with matches to spare is a thing of the past... this will go to the wire!

Well played???Sad ...The stats should worry you!

Against the Gunners, Manchester United had the least possession (39.87%) and worst passing accuracy (75.87) of any of their Premier League games this season.

United also played their lowest number of passes (344) in any league game at Old Trafford for seven years, since a draw with Chelsea in a top-of-the-table clash in November 2006, when they played 310.
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

Goal came from a set-piece which was poorly defended by Arsenal (we really missed Per's presence at the back) but otherwise from open play there wasn't really anything to talk about between the two teams. We came out stronger in the 2nd half but huko mbele tulikuwa a bit weak and wasteful.....still can't believe Bendtner hakufunga. IMO a draw would have been a fair result but congrats to Man Utd on securing all three points. I guess winning three matches against top teams in one week was a bit too much, the international break couldn't have come at a better time.

The weekend was one of the worst for top teams, all top teams lost points while mid table teams gained points. It never happens always and as usual when mid table teams meet among themselves they will share the spoils

@Guka. I would not be worried. It is clear that Man U’s strategy was to let arsenal keep the ball but ensure that they did not open them up for chances to shoot at the goal. To a very great extent, the strategy worked and that is why I agree with @Mc observation that united were simply effective.

@Kimiri.....To some extent i agree with that but i also think some of the Arsenal players looked a bit jaded, kwanza Ozil and Ramsey. I have seen reports indicating that a "virus" struck some of the Arsenal players a few hours before the match. Mertesacker & Rosicky were the most affected. Gnabry, Arteta and Ozil the other three though the still managed to play. Ozil has now been ruled out of the Germany friendly and has been advised to stay in London and not to fly. Anyway Wenger has refused to use that as an excuse for the poor show yesterday, probably for obvious reasons.

Man Utd were quite solid at the back and that's where i think they were most effective, we were in control of the midfield but our attacking midfielders were simply not doing enough work to create goal scoring opportunites. We had more possession, completed more passes but the game lacked urgency lacked and we couldn't dictate the pace of the game like we usually do, Ramsey didn't even make once single run towards goal. The only players who appeared to be fully focused on the match were Sagna, Carzola and the Keeper. At some point Man Utd just sat back and waited for us to come at them but our midfielders were just not up for it.
