KQ is not Sebastian nor Michael Joseph. KQ is the culture of the staff, the pilots who call in sick after binge drinking at 1824, cabin crew untouchables of high society who sneer at clients, procurement staff who pilfer, baggage handlers who steal perfumes and belts, engineers who down tools in high season.. the deal wrote:VituVingiSana wrote:NIC-CBA and Equity are going to have to impair 5bn+ each for their "investment" in KQ! The smart guys were the local subsidiaries of foreign banks. They don't seem to have unsecured exposure to KQ. It won't happen ...just wait and see...a deal will be brokered... Given the banks were coerced into the Debt:Equity Conversion, there may already be a deal in place. I do not blame the banks. They aren't the ones who pissed away the money. They deserve to be repaid given the coercion. Anyone who voluntarily bought an ownership stake in KQ should follow the fortunes of their investment decision. Greedy when others are fearful. I read the annual report and his notice period is 6 months.
@maka Please confirm Yes true I have the notice.... Let me post it. A perfect gentleman.. In any organization, large or small, if the staff are not with you, all is lost.. KQ's main reason for losses remains the junior staff who don't buy into the vision offered by the leadership.. Even the next CEO will likely be thrown out in similar fashion. Let see what Kivaluka will achieve Then it is time to shutter this organization. Let the dissenters find other jobs and let the Taxpayer breath a sigh of relief. Greedy when others are fearful. After such a long dividend drought let them be given the umbrellas omera At this point minority shareholders can only make noise.

After such a long dividend drought let them be given the umbrellas omera At this point minority shareholders can only make noise. Many, many, many moons ago... there was a firm called City Trust. It was a pure investment firm with one major holding. Some shareholders asked for gifts, food and prayers at the AGM. The Chairman told them this was a business meeting and they are welcome to pray and eat after the meeting at their own expense. Anyway, good luck to KQ but I sincerely want it weaned off the Taxpayers' largesse. Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett
