To save the stock Boeing needs to issue a statement. Even India and Mexico have boarded the No Max 8-9 flights. So they will only fly in Canada US and Israel . Passengers and flight crew in the US don't want to fly in them too...

Nigeria is a sovereign state just like Canada, UK, Australia, Germany or any other that cares for its citizens and doesn't want the faulty plane to nose dive and crash within its territory killing it's citizens. Kudos Nigeria. Safety comes first.

Now Trump is an aviation expert! This is just reacting instead of responding. The very reason we have fewer accidents is because of these complicated things. Innovations drive the human race forward. It's quite ironical that a guy who communicates with his followers through twitter and the internet is talking trash about the internet. If the people who invented the phone left it just left it that you could call people - Trump would not be president! If the people who invented the internet left it as it was - Trump would never have been president. Innovation moves the world forward - sometimes there are unfortunate events (Toyota Prius brakes, Samsung Note 7 explosions, Dreamliner battery issues and now the Max 8 issues) but they will be fixed and we will move forward into a safer future.

The reason why a toyota corolla is more reliable than a range rover or BMW is because of these complicated technology things. As Trump says "Always seeking to go one unnecessary step further, when often old and simpler is far better". I'd rather fly in a corolla than a gizmo packed range rover whose one of the plethora of "unnecessary" sensors could fail leading to a stall.
