In Kenya, all rules/laws are passed looking the convenience of those passing them, not the people.

CBD removal of matatus only helps Sonko and his idiots...they drive into the CBD and now will find parking etc.

Also, the reduction to 200/= again helps them.

Kenyan politicians don't do anything for the good of the people. Ever.

Kumira kumira...

Unahurumia mkenya kwa nini?

As you can see clearly a lot of people in Nairobi walk...But they vote Sonko...

Let them walk.

Agreed 100%

Walking is good for health.

Not everyone can walk.

There are so many options available, walk, uber/taxi, train to railways, move out of Nairobi and get work in other towns. These matatus are so noisy and smoky I wonder how people with offices in the CBD concentrate.

Banning matatus from CBD has exposed how dirty and filthy Moi avenue,Tom MBoya and a host of streets/lanes/alleys east of Tom Mboya street are....clearly Nairobi as a city in Africa is grossly overrated and Mombasa is way much cleaner and neater(Joho is not a looser afterall).

Nairobians should not complain and instead gorge themselves in diesel free air and relatively safer and de-congested streets. The time is nigh for establishing a new capital city with proper housing and transport infrastucture because there is no land in Nairobi. All land is in private hands...

The biggest cause of traffic jams in nairobi is personal cars. A private car carrying one person takes the same road space as a matatu ferrying 14 plus people. Thus we need more matatus in the CBD and fewer personal cars. Infact personal cars should be banned from the CBD.

Kenya is the only country in the world where Public Transport is banned in the City Center and Private Cars are charged the lowest.

Amazing stuff.

I am waiting for one day...It shall rain in Nairobi, at 5pm...I can't even imagine the chaos on that day.

lakini...kumira kumira.

This is the most effective way of taking out competition .In the long term Saccos like citti hoppa will not survive this apart from access to CBD kencom as a termini could be considered a gold mine to players in that industry.Given at some point their will be buses crisscrossing the city who will own them
