ION the Board has made a decision to let go of all guys seconded by KLM.... Raj... Jan et al.... A very bold move. KAWU's press release though poorly worded showed clearly they take a big junk of the wages. The parliamentary hearing on the JKIA also brought to light the case as it is with the so-called expatriates. MJ also made the decision to refund wages earned after the Mps mocked him. MPs are soo dirty and then mock MJ.. Unafik kabisa.. He's a class act Some questions raised were sensible. @maka, where is the correct link talking about the departure of KLM stooges? Surely si I am the link.... Top 50 meeting at Pride currently let's see which other head will roll today... possunt quia posse videntur

Shallow but passes the message that KQ should go back to the basics, even if it means boarding after jumping over urine. Life is short. Live passionately.

Whereas I did not fully endorse the "Share Option" scheme that KK gave Ohana, it did work. @Monk - Frankly, the green is key and thanks to KK my 2018 performance was positive despite a 100% loss in ARM and paper losses in some counters. All that said, I look to "performance" of the firms not the share price. To paraphrase Warren Buffett: The stock market is not a sprint but a marathon. Greedy when others are fearful. The government has written off a Sh24.2 billion loan advanced to struggling Kenya Airways in the latest move to keep the national flag carrier in the skies. In budget documents presented in Parliament this week, the Treasury revealed that the loan was part of Sh27.2 billion worth of dormant loans that the Cabinet authorised to be written off. Kenya Airways, which made another loss of Sh7.5 billion last year, had not made any attempt to repay the loan and it remained outstanding as at June 30, 2018. This made it the biggest recipient of write offs. The government, which is the biggest shareholder in the airline, has been pumping money into KQ in an attempt to resuscitate it and pull it out of the red. But the airline has remained in the loss making territory for the last five years. possunt quia posse videntur

if the management will not take other huge credit facilities in the next 6 months, this will immediately return kenya airways into positive equity. This means GOK is determined to return KQ into profitability. Towards the goal of financial freedom
