BGL....I respect you & Hunderwear when it comes to OTC.
Do you have their financial reports in soft copy?Cant find them in their new UNITAS site.
Whats your overall feeling about the counter? When do they plan on listing in the NSE?

For MURAMATI i do not have and they never publish them on their website. But i can always get the info i want from the inner cycle.

Its good they have dropped that old name .... They even sound 'UN' which makes them more visible and not a regional SACCO.

I have also noted they have an extra line of business: Insurance Agency.

BGL send me contacts for where I can get a piece hortoncapital@gmail.com
Cheers

They are still selling the shares todate.Just walk into their branches in Nairobi and open an account then deposit the money in form of investment shares. They have a branch near Jack and Jill. and in Kasarani.Lets support these local institutions as they offer better returns. If we dont Foreigners will. They already own over 25% of Equity.

I meant foreigners.I foresee the same happening to Unaitas with the influx of P.E. firms in E Africa due to oil discovery. That wil ofcos happen after the conversion into a commercial bank. The future can never be written for these enterprises. You need goggles coz it is too bright

Currently, the maximum shareholding is 100,000 shares worthy KSh 1 million.

I think UNAITAS should repeat that aborted 2010 share sale process but follow the law this time around. They should also close the register and consequently remove that 1m cap on investment shares. With a closed register those who would like to get a piece can get it via the OTC market and also allow some price discovery.

@BGL, the closing of the register is not far off. I know something is in the making on this and that means you can only buy shares from an existing shareholder..... and the value will JUMP within a short period.
