Ati cost over 100m!(ktn) No wonder the latest sme of the year is in advertising!

But they be warned, sinking funds at that rate, with zain breathing hot will not last. Actually how many new pple-watching tv, will be won by this - value? but am no expert anyway, though feel 100 is too much of shareholder value erosion.

At 100M I think KTN is simply guttering the usual way.Thats alot of money for an advert which will be archived in the next 3 months...yes 3 months; ads never remain relevant any longer than that.

By the way, how did those safcom choir cheps manage to hack Mt. Kenya's sub zero temperatures dressed ONLY in flowy white gowns?

Ama it was blue screen at work? smile smile

I've never made it that far up - still, from a coupla hundred feet below, and wrapped up like a newborn, I was so cold my cajones almost turned into ice-cubes.

How did they hack that scene? d'oh!
So nice that its nasty, so bangin' its busting,
So slick that its sick, so dope its disgusting!

Sure, that advert iko juu, hata kama ni ku copy paste , its fine.

Then the sand dunes were most likely taken from Chalbi Desert.

Kudo's Safcom for setting the standards high.

Cant wait to see how Bharti, will relaunch their Zain Kenya come 20th November

Very soon this advert will be what-a-bore, it will be too long, too dreary, too where-is-the-remote-now....

BTW; do you remember "The Bank With a Vision" advert by NBK 15 years or so ago? it was said to have cost sh25m to produce...in the mid 1990s....

It was also on a similar theme...
Nothing is real unless it can be named; nothing has value unless it can be sold; money is worthless unless you spend it.

Wonder why most members insist on the fact that most Kenyans dont have a Tv?
Well, the few that are Tv-eed matter most (ARPU higher in this segment)...again they influence the Tv-less ...etc It is a great advert from Safcom, give praise when it is due!!

....and even those who do not have TV sets crowd the places with TV to watch news and such stuff, actually most kenyans with mobile phones who are able to make meaningfull calls have access to TVs one way or the other, this is a great advert!!!!
