wa wa wa...village life hoiyee!

there is this time we were taking ng'ombe to the river kunywa maji...(there was no tapped water). on getting there,we started by swimming tukiwa 'ndese' and fighting with boys from the other side of the valley,in water. whoever wins sits on the other n u would feel like you are about to die/drown till ur valley mate comes to your rescue...had to be strong..no ihii itikuaga*( boys never die)

one day we went swimming, and the cows wondered to a nearby farm,n consumed all the crops which were blossoming. little did we know it was the farm of 'kibiriti ngoma'. she came, took all our clothes n drove the cows to her shed. come 5pm or thereabout as we were about to go home...no clothes no ng'ombe,no nothing. when we located them, she was like' kumanyoko ici, kamwe kamwe kahungure ucio muhiriga, muthii muke na nyukwa kana thoguo...on our way home,u can imagine '..tap tap' on our thighs....back home, fire was raging..kuhurwo na hatha(thabai)...ngai!

be happy!

@bebeto,hope we neva fought coz that was my favourite. Those cross valley wars could escalate mpaka zinafikia chief! The other side had lotsa sugarcane and the mission to steal was known as KOTOKA,the sound of breaking cane. The code was only known to us. Moles are not eaten in Gatanga, but we the mboys did,4a long time! I realy pitied that kamzee Makuogo as that was his livilihood. Anyone tasted porcupine? Hmmm, salivating!

as i sit back and watch a bull..equity,jub,eabl.. i cant help but laugh and your history..this is NOMA.

how bees made honey used to beat me,since we live next to a forest we made a hive out of polythene bags so as to watch the production of honey, stole sugar from my mums house, mixed with water and waited for the bees to show up..two days and nothing happened..so i thought..why not go for the bees..they are just next door..this is when it all happened.. someone had said that bees dont attack when you are naked..NGai fafa.. what happened in that forest remains in that forest....

ihhii itikuaga!!!!
