This is another trickery frm Safaricom .
If you buy the 700 mb option u'll get 64 kbps .just to give you a taste of how low these speeds are we convert them to mb/s , hence 64 kbps / 1024 = 0.0625 mbps.
What am i supposd to do w/ these speeds. They are literally unusable.

I dare somebody to tell me they are gettin even a mere 20 KB/s. This is a con.
Thats why its Orange all the way.

3G throughput is much higher than this. Probably you are on GPRS/EDGE with bad signal strength. If you have a laptop, try a different location, you will experience a difference.

The utimate goal of investing is to buy low sell high;if we re-write this core equation in psychology terms it becomes buy fear sell greed.

Shows how desperately people want to use the net, yet pricing is prohibiting them....

Over to you Mr Ndemo the defender of high pricing...

If net costs just came to a monthly fee of 1,000sh almost all mid to high earning professionals would have it.More so, all MBA & Post-grad students would have it.I think all the ISPs know this....so why is it that they insist on high prices claiming they want to "first recoup their costs"?
Do they know something that we don't?

The price war on voice is forcing Safcon to drop data prices in the hope of trying to stem the revenue bleed.

This will surely have a knock-on effect on the ISPs curently fleecing us...

Safaricom should include counselling for post bundle speeds induced trauma. After sometime, i think a heavy user gets blacklisted then the speeds become way to slow akin to watching grass grow.
In MY opinion, the offer 999/= is not worth it unless one is into torrents where you leave the machine on for hours. The waiting might induce ulcers.
