Thanks all. Very Informative and true wazua spirit. I saw....

...""GREATER SOUTHERN BYPASS - To connect Mombasa Road (A109) at Athi River to Narok Road (B3) at Suswa. - Currently at planning Stage..""

This road has to cross Magadi road somehow to get to Suswa - on Narok road. Does anyone have an Idea where??

Thanks.

kilometres+metres... measured from the starting point of the works

3+200 = 3km, 200m = 3.2km

it crosses Kitengela near ostrich park to kiserian pipeline to kisames behind the ngong hills. There was a plan to cross near Nazarene but the NGOs opposed it due to proximity to Nairobi national park.

Sorry to bother again. Is Kisames after Olepolos, and how many Kilometres approximately?

Thanks.

The Greater Eastern is still under Preliminary & Detailed Engineering Design by Norken International, see link http://www.norken.co.ke/projects_design.php

I have meet them on the ground poking small white sticks on the ground from the big turn on the Eastern bypass going in towards mwalimu farm along Gacheha farm. What I got from them is that there is a lot to evaluate before it is finally decided where the actual road lies.

General direction,It starts at Lukenya and exits just before Kilimabogo along Garissa road. There will be an intersection from the Eastern bypass with a 14km extention road joining the Greater Eastern were Ruiru river meets Athi river at mwalimu farm.
