Export market for rabbit meat.

Quote:
Rabbit Republic’s managing director Yash Goel said Kenya has not even reached the minimum daily quantity of five tonnes required for export.

Very true. Most farmers breed around 100-500 rabbits and are already looking for export markets- which is not so easy to break through because the returns may not be soo good for the pocket.China is breeding its own and so are other farmers worldwide because rabbit farming is not capital intensive.
Most foreign Industries dealing in rabbit meat have their own farms as well and what farmers supply only helps to supplement.

Yesterday I saw a woman on tv -Eldoret making income out of Rabbit Urine. Aparrently the urine contains nitrogen used in manufacturing fertilizer?

The problem with Kenyans is that we jump at any new venture coming up...the lucky ones make money others burn their fingers badly...then wait for the next venture to jump in...

I tried rabbit meat for the first time yesterday. Texture is just like chicken but it does not have any distinct flavour.

Verdict from my wife - not worth it.

Hahahaa.....Do you guys consider the taste (go by the tongue) or the nutritional benefits, when making a decision on what to eat?

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God..

Le Palanka - Has rabbit. An African restaurant with French fusion serves up some interesting dishes, it is on James Gichuru Road, Lavington, about 300 meters after the Gitanga Road Junction. They also serve very tasty bissap! Order bissap when there!

How many Quails does one need to eat to get full??
Or how many Quail eggs can one eat for breakfast?
The man who marries a beautiful woman, and the farmer who grows corn by the roadside have the same problem
