i have used safaricom, orange zain, and yu.

the speeds and my current preference are in that order.

however i must state that i never lasted with yu the entire month. you can shed tears waiting esp if you are used to safcm or orange

how about the latest test? this on for 4th april?

Here is the latest test result.

Haiya,are these 3G+ speeds? conmen.

Kenyan businesses should be serious.SAFCOM 3G gives EDGE speeds,Orange 3G+,ZAIN,YU 2.5G gives GPRS speeds.

Thats why Kenyans use mobile phones to browse,I use my LG viewty for 90% of my internet needs,I rarely use my SAF modem maybe once or twice a month.
The utimate goal of investing is to buy low sell high;if we re-write this core equation in psychology terms it becomes buy fear sell greed.

Here's mine - Orange 3G+ Internet Everywhere

Modem ni 1,990/-
Unlimited internet ni 990 per week or 3990 per month.

It takes about 2½ hours to download a 800MB movie using utorrent and a gazillion ngomas for half the time (and that's in the background as I'm going about my kawa jobo - smile)

Ain't exactly phoooooarr but ain't complaining.
So nice that its nasty, so bangin' its busting,
So slick that its sick, so dope its disgusting!

Since the topic is still on, Yu Internet is a disaster Sad.

Top upload speed= 4.17 Kb/s
Top download speed= 2.58 Kb/s

Normal upload speed= 0.00 to 1.19 Kb/s
Normal download speed= 0.00 to 1.86 Kb/s

Speedtest.net cannot load on the browser. It gets so bad that it cannot download text only emails on Thunderbird (which uses less resources than Outlook).

Aren't there any service levels that must be upheld by a service provider? It is robbery to subscribe to a daily or monthly package only to get pathetic service without any recourse.

Wapi CCK?
