I think 30 (including dividends) in 1Q 2018 is a strong possibility. Not buying Safcom earlier was a poor call. The competition just couldn’t hack it. Kenya must be one of the few open markets where telecom costs aren’t dropping rapidly. Safcom can get away with 5/- calls & $5/Gb for data.

Safcom is a case study in how to dominate a market! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 to MJ & BC.

Main competitor was doing other things and left the field for safaricom to take away everything

There will be miniscule impact. Safaricom is bigger than the boycott

I hope they fix the problems! A step at a time. Perhaps they should have rolled it out slowly. Like Amazon which started with books (non-perishable) then expanded to other goods.

MTN have been denied twice and on the third instance pulled out of the Essar yu deal coz they smelled a rat...

The second time was when 'I'd rather die than resign guy' took the French cash and gave telkom to Orange... Corruption is expensive!

Last year though, Millicom (tigo) was very much interested in Airtel KE but couldn't agree on a price...

The only agreement between Millicom was in Ghana where they (Millicom & Airtel) merged their networks/businesses ...

MTN presence through MTN business isn't complete without a mobile business...
