Yeah. Kenyans are awful when it comes tosense of humour.That was a kitendawili please.smile .Even all those insults by Muthama were jokes folks!Applause

Muthama was very personal! He sounds very bitter!
It is very sad to attack family.
Is there any legal action Uhuru can take to stop this guy?Sad Sad Sad

Why would he bother to sue?. If a mad man farts in the market,need you comment? The good side is,that is the alternative gaament and they have a super way of endearing themselves by use of bags of matusi/vitriol.Some people you can't help even if you wanted to.Sad

back of the envelope calculations... 290k teachers getting a paltry amount of money i.e. quarter of the lowest paid Teacher's take home salo (5k) is 1.45 BIRRION... so lets say we raise it in 30 days that is 48,333,333.333 a day or 2,013,888.88 bob every hour! so it's going to be 24hrs soon... unless hiyo PayBill iko na 48M and above - we will be doing poorly!

Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Yeah right. If that was the intention, it really backfired. 'Panda mbegu ya RAO' kind of jokes are now all over. That is the message that went out. RAOs strategists messed him up there, big time.

In kenya we have a phobia for transparency, I mean who is managing that paybill number, how will the same be forwarded to teachers, is tsc allowed to receive payroll cash from other sources apart from the government, what will be the administrative costs for the whole process.

Unless the thing was meant as a joke, but some are taking it seriously, I don't know how such even got past the cord strategists ama that shows how they are.

An initiative by Cord leader Raila Odinga meant to raise money and pay striking teachers through a mobile money account has only realised Sh409.Safaricom said the M-Pesa account dubbed ‘Solidarity Account’ had raised Sh100,409 as at 12.30 pm Thursday given that Mr Odinga himself said he had deposited Sh100,000.

The poor uptake of the initiative comes after several successful mobile-based fundraising campaigns.

@Muchr,

Be kind. The editor has since posted what has been collected as below. I pray that the Kshs8,276 is not interest accrued since yesterdayPray

Editor's note: Safaricom says Sh108,276 has been raised as at 4 pm Thursday.

Oh... so far we have enough to give teachers 40 cents each... or maybe we should wait until we get enough for a wheelbarrow for Knut.
