Between March to June 2014 the projected prices
are :-
- KCB at 60 bob
- Panafric at 90 bob
- Equity at 50 bob
- safaricom at 15 bob

Factor in brokers commission. For a long termer like
me I would have still pitched my tent with KCB OR
sale half to position on any other one listed
or what others mid caps CFC Stanbic, Coop etc
I personally prefer market leaders and blue chip stocks with high dividend yield so that while waiting I am still compensated with good dividend.
That is me. Everything depends on you.

I always pick 1st or second best in a sector and nothing more.

7 weeks ago I sold about 30% of my KCB holding.
This was my first buy in 2004 at 4.5 bob (Pre 10: 1 split 45 bob) at 45 bob a whooping 1000% return in 9 years. I used the proceeds to position in Safaricom at 6.90 bob. No regret at all.

Both KCB and Safaricom are growing, though there is a tendency on the short term for
Safaricom to grow faster than KCB due to :-
- Low instrinsic value 9.4 Vs 49
- Monopoly Safcom is a lone ranger, KCB is
competing with equity, coop etc
- Foreigners appetite. Foreigners are madly in love with Safaricom due to its liquidity and good dividend expectation.

By foreigners I am referring to foreign institutional investors whose huge demand can cause positive price change not small ant like me.

How is M-benki different from the one from CBA and the other one from Equity? The King here remains Safaricom
