Taking a person to the hospital is primarily an act of faith as well.
Sick people die in hospital too..
Both Owuor and docto rs depend on you for healing.
That is why they cannot raise the dead.. or really heal anyone.
in 2015 AD that statement is breathtakingly silly.
@mtu Biz, that statement is the most silly one I have heard in 2015. You mean now according to you "all what doctors learn as medical treatment" is all faith? Please educate me if I misunderstood you
Doctors/Physicians go to school and study the human body, how one part affects the other, how to change the environment for a sick/wounded part to facilitate healing.
The human body can and does heal itself.
You have yourselves witnessed the many cuts and bruises you have ever had heal with almost no external intervention.
The physician facilitates the process, drugs / therapy / surgery change the environment for the body to heal itself.
I invite the comments of any physician in the house on the same.
I am not a medic but I can imagine that applies to bone fractures which are rarely treated by miracle workers like your venerable Bishop DR Prophet Owuor
However, lets try with kenya's leading killers 1) Infections like malaria, HIV, Pneumonia, tuberculosis..... These are mostly infections caused by pathogens and no amount of faith or prayers from the annointed one Owour will lead to your 'body healing itself'. Your doctor will prescribe a drug that will kill the pathogen and then you will be cured/healed and can thank Owuor and Kanyari if you want to.
our goals are best achieved indirectly
