exactly, and they were connected to who?
Moha did a the cocaine story and which unit was protecting the haul? who was the head of that unit?what was his reward? which big names were linked to that?
How on earth can one stay as a deputy commissioner for that long without anyone knowing! Why has he been discovered immediately Iteere left office? ati he was in Baragoi, attended a security meeting, someone give me a break. are we this gullible?
This guy was planted there by powerful forces to guard their own interest and since there is change of guard things are disintegrating in a spectacular manner. I just wish Kenyans voted in a new system PK, Martha, or Ole K and then watch as the 'Dark Forces' system disintegrate.Afro cinema continues ......

Disintegration is also integration. One's dis-ease, is the pathogen's ease.

We are the symptoms. And also the patients.

Each individual patient must go to the healer.

Then the system will change.

Yeap. Reeks "covert intelligence". I find it extremely hard to believe that an alleged former tout can have the stones to infiltrate the police and at such a high level. Do not think Kenya Police, especially the middle to higher management are as stupid as the media is portraying them to be, otherwise al Shabaab would have us cowering inside our houses.

And you wonder why our real policemen are bitter and disappointed.

But the buck stops with the commander in chief. I keep on saying that building of roads is not a present to the Kenyan people but a responsibility of gov't. When the gov't builds roads, it should not be called a legacy but a responsibility.

When we have a commander in chief who has been in charge of foreigners having senior police posts, who has been in charge when the worst violence was meted out on Kenyan citizens by gangs like mungiki, was in charge when Kenyans were killing each other, when we even had fake policemen, then that is the legacy.

This is a shame and setting up a commission is another cover up.

I'm happy with the new IG. And I pray for him. Because I'm sure that there are very many hard working, honest policemen who see such upus and wonder, why bother?

Just a shame.

@alma,....its not right or even possible to micromanage every govt department that there is, so i cannot blame the CIC on this...however, its clear we have no systems or structure in most of these govt institutions. Its completely wrong for a class 8 dropout to be in the force even at the lowest rank yet there are millions of Form 4 leavers hustling daily, working as touts and roasting maize on our streets.
