Jubilee Scoops 10 Awards at the Annual Insurance Awards, 2012 chapter

Jubilee has emerged as the most celebrated company at the awards for 3 years in a row. Jubilee Insurance was the overall winner in the Marketing Initiative, Medical Insurance underwriter, Life Insurer of the year, Risk Management Award and Fraud Detection and Prevention categories.

Jubilee was also feted as runners up in the Corporate Social Responsibility, General Insurer of the year and Claims Settlement of the year awards. The firm came third in ICT Application Awards and Major Loss Awards.

Strong H1 2012 numbers were released by Britak today. Watch this space for the better numbers from the King of the industry. The current share price limp is coz the bonus shares issued have started trading

When Bujagali makes 1bn in Profits like in fy 2011, and jubilee has 25% interest in Bujagali. Bujagali declares no dividends. Does Jubilee benefit and in what way.

In the year 2011 associate companies of JUB including farmers choice and bujagali raked in 1.1BILLION to the income statement...
infact it was these associates that saved JUBs profits from declining in 2011!

I wonder how much they will bring in 2012...
