I think Libra house is owned by David Mwiraria.

Finally this madness of pulling down multi-billion shilling business may be over.

Orengo needs to really try and watch himself on TV, he came out like a real idiot last night. Makes you wonder if he has ever built anything in his life

Libra House exclusion is daylight Impunity .

The demolision of the New buildings on the expected road is also damn impunity.

Who allow the buidings to be built when they know the same government has other plans for the land.

If the demolisions have to be done , then any compensations should be done from the estate of the persons who authorised the buildings and not our taxes.

@newfarer, please get the facts right. These SG people are playing psychology on you and introducing politics into a non political issue.

Impunity is taking 5 pages of your newspapers to spread what you know to be a falsehood. Impunity is thinking that your kahouse is so special that the rest of the Kenyans will forever endure traffic jams just because you are special. Impunity is suggesting that a constitutional law does not work for you just because you are the media. impunity is using a headline that is meant to invoke hatred in an issue that wholly legal in nature. impunity is having a CEO who talks of impunity in the same breath as he holds a position even his mother knows is over his head.

Is there a clear explanation why Libra house is left out.

Why were the new buildings allowed to be built.

Did you know that Jams in Nairobi are caused by the round abouts and not the width of the road?

Sort out the round abouts and there will never be jams

Btw I am disgusted by KTN cry for public sympathy for nearly half of the time allocated for News.I had to switch to NTV and KBC , No Citizen TV reception at my place.

@newfarer are you suggesting the jam is caused by Libra house?

Understand that even if you built the house 30 years ago or yesterday, the law on compulsory acquisition does not affect that. They will be paid...to move.

But I propose that they know that they may have no legal rights on that land.

Remember that that land they are on was public land before another regime came up. They have to show in court to get paid that they legally owned that land. If I go to court today and challenge that, SG will lose everything.

The politics is on their side.

Any land or property or expensive building in Kenya can be acquired by gov't for the public good. That includes SG HEADQUATERS! That is the law, that is the constitution of Kenya. It is not an ODM PARTY POLICY!

Impunity is destroying property worth 20b+ to put up 2.5kms of road worth less than .5b.

@Rasilio, I am not a big fan of Paul Melly and his management style, but I can assure you the guy is razor sharp.
