Indeed KQ is going through hard times and a more experienced management with aviation experience would be ideal but for now we work with what we have.. vibrant results to be released on 17.11.2016. KQ share expected to touch KES 5 by end of next week. Up 29‰ in last 23 days.. The volume action is indicative of a further break out @karasinga

Purported volume action will cool off before a real upward breakout. Even from today watch out keenly.

Up 3%.. Now at KES 4.25..We are waiting for KES 3

LOL. I love the naivety.. 22 days of upward motion and you still expect a major pull back

What will push this stock upwards I don't see it. It edges on a dangerous ground of uncertainty even for speculation.

Another blow to KQ after plane leasing deal unleashes Kshs 4B loss!

Sub 3bob in the offing. Sit tight. @Obiero umepatikana . No escape route. Accept multiple haircuts and move on.#Business Daily Africa@

Sub 3 is still too expensive, sub-2 is the thing!

2/- is 2/- too much for KQ.

Why are we up 5.8% today?? All clear for take off. The media has it in for KQ.. Bringing up info in last year's annual report released month's ago at this time

Now at 7.5% up.. This plane is on the runway

As of 1pm, according to myStocks, KQ has traded 2,700 shares worth KES 9,830 Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Not 9,800 shares but KES 9,830/-! So yes, KQ is up 7.5% on vapor volumes!

TPSEA, much smaller in revenue than KQ has traded KES 199,000 worth.

We are on the runway with vapor volumes because serious players are now on the floor

2,659,500 KQ shares traded today, including my final bulk purchase of 411,500.. I smell money on the horizon

Who finances your bulk buys? Your big brother Nguze or self?

I am a small businessman trying to survive in Africa.. Hope that answer suffices..

Your KQ portfolio at current price is 2.2M when in the whole history u have never held more that 1m in value...was me and launder me too..

Watu wa Viro padlocks as Mawinder says.

Every season @obiero dies hard defending KQ the worst comes. He has falsely updated KQ portfolio to lure PPT to this counter next week. I don't trust this guy. He is paid in terms of tokens to paint positive image on this government owned crap.

Expect the FY2016 loss to double!

Hahaha

Very true. The delays this year are at a record high level. KQ is dead.

788,900 shares traded today.. The volume action speaks to my soul.. I smell money coming my way

That's a very high volume!

@sparkly 3,348,400 KQ shares traded in last two trading sessions.. ukiona vyaelea

Thanks to the exchange bar..

When truth finally hits this counter as negative material announcement 22 days from now you'll see how speculators' stampede influence on price south. Still waiting to watch the drama due to happen next month.

Everyone knows that a loss shall be announced.. The heavy buying being witnessed is not for the short termers.. If one can't stand the heat of speculation better go try Bamburi, DTB..

The "people problem" in KQ is now starting to manifest itself, this time it is bigger than ever and has the potential to ground the airline quicker than the financial problems. Unfortunately senior management is turning a blind eye rather than coming up with solutions, is it arrogance or just plain negligence?

Like i said before, the regulator will have to say something about the exit of engineers before year end.

The pilot exits are getting worse by the day and the offers by other airlines keep getting better. Fastjet is replacing their airbus fleet with embraer 190's you can bet they will be hunting for ready made embraer pilots from KQ with ofcourse better pay. Why incur training costs when you can just copy paste.

The most overlooked but important people the cabin crew (especially the contracted cheaper ones)have also been dealt a raw deal for the longest I am shocked they haven't yet made noise. I however foresee threats for industrial action from them before year end.

The house of cards is crumbling down, without any intervention it is tick..tock...

You may be right, but luckily KQ cannot be brought down by bloggers.. H1 shall be the litmus. Rise of the phoenix from dark ashes is finally here.. Someone who invested 3.3m in KQ just 20 days ago will today be counting 4.2m gross. My personal aim is not to revisit KES 126 per share.. Even KES 14 shall be good enough for my exit

Why do you plan to exit from a profitable company when the share hit Kes.14 while the historical highs are in the region of Kes.126?

If you trust the company that much then rational person would expect you to sit pretty, watch the company grow year-on-year and take home your decent dividends plus other freebies.

WHY PLAN TO EXIT EARLY?

In stocks, history often does not repeat itself. That's why Centum has not revisited KES 610 or KCB 225

@maka, Does this happen?

Quote:
She said KQ blocks seats and then doesn’t sell them, or is simply unresponsive even to KLM agents who handle its business. I was deeply embarrassed. The manager made it sound as though KQ’s incompetence and corrupt behaviour was Kenya’s national disease. I got angrier as she recounted her exasperation with KQ. Then I realised I wasn’t actually angry at her but at KQ. It was KQ which had put me in this mess.
