Economic sabotage.

I am no fan of KQ but KAA's workers have no shares in JKIA/KAA that go beyond what every Kenyan has virtue of GoK's ownership.

As if KQ displays anything akin to a reliable organization. This one will be a good study of poor leadership & mismanagement.

Thank you @ericsson for the correct information. It is KAA and not KQ on strike

It doesn't matter who's on strike, you cant have one part of the same rope being weak, and still claim to have a rope. Maybe that's the reason its being suggested that the two are merged/made into one, for easier monitoring.

Sigh... How? How long can they suastain this... Rem managers were there at 4am some have to go home since theyvare tired... Rem also there are absolute minimums in regards to certifications and trainings required... How many of them know how to use a flight disruption tool? Just seen Rwandair cancel a coupleof its flights to Kenya.... Flights will be severely disrupted... If this continues I can bet you a 1m shillings flights to JFK will be stopped for a while...

As the strike continues,KQ is being shafted from behind;

Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) is on the spot for issuing permit to Ethiopian Airways to operate cargo flights between Nairobi and Europe even after the objection from Kenya Airways and other local freight airlines.

Last month, KCAA granted Ethiopian Airlines permission to operate 15 ad-hoc cargo flights from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) to Europe, which is a peak month for flower exports.

Serikali ya Uhuruto ni bure sana.

This is the problem of hiring corporate men who sold their souls to the devil to run government affairs.

You simply cannot run public affairs through threats, intimidation and brinkmanship.

Public affairs require consensus and win-win thinking. Uhuruto can't even agree within the coalition let alone agree with government workers.

Quite interessantes, then they should be operating airports accross the world fully jungled and with karlsniths and missile launchers at hand.
Sure this thing is strategic, luckily enough shababs were asleep. Afew big birds should be dancing in Sahel by now.
Those brukenges should be provided with better picketting styles. Do they take an oath to their profession before being admitted or they are just the ordinary "shellerac" babies. The level of wrecklessnesss in this country is unstomachable.
Otherwise, they should all have been castrated by now. You can not afford to strike while tossing nuclear bomb control pad in your back, nugus.
You ought to have written to the presidnt Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta, directly if it had to come to this, surrendering your id cards, voters cards, bank accounts, titledeeds, marriage certificates, birth certificates, children birthright and a decree to a state of emergency to your life's and your children and relatives and country as a whole, and surrendering yourselves to the state and giving an ultimatum to a hunger strike at work until the last man standing, ipii ino.
This is a trust economy and nothing can antidote the lack of it other than anarchy.
This is beyond enough freedom country man, gentlemen or fellow humans or whatever you wish to call yourselves.
