This Kenya of ours is really gone to the dogs...so after ranting about Kabura and Co. all morning, I find myself walking past Neno evangelism church just a few meters from the roundabout of Haile Selassie avenue and Uhuru Highway...then all of a sudden I see a group of like 100 people running and I think its hawkers or some demonstrators...but ooh wait, in a matter of seconds I find my jacket been pulled and some punches landing on me...and there I realise am in deep sh*t. So its a swarm of chokoras/thugs (am still wondering where such a large number came from) running wildly and freely terrorising pedestrians and also those in cars...ripping pockets and throwing punches everywhere they can (and please note the traffic police guys are less than 10 meters away..or may be traffic police dont deal with Kenya's security - hapo labda itabidi tuwaulize)...a guy gets his side mirror ripped off and he hits two of them but wanaamka tu kama terminators and continue with their business....for the first time in my adult life I screamed (or so I thought in my head)...I let off my jacket and at least struggled out of the mess, but not before landing one major last slap on my left eye and seeing some "stars". At last I get to the crossing at the roundabout but a very infuriated person plus an instant headache from the departing slap less my jacket and its contents..and "very lucky" none of them even tried to get into my trouser pockets, so i still have my wallet and phone....And as I walk on the other side as the thugs go up Haile Selassie avenue towards City Square...am thinking.."Was that a movie I just watched ama did it really happen to me?"....oohh almost forgot the bit that made me even more infuriated, it was in broad daylight...in between 9.45 and 9.50 AM to be specific...

So the strong rooms in banks are not being monitored by CCTV at night?
