Contrarian Investing doesnt mean you invest in fundamentally busted counters...in the market right now...Mumias Ksh215 Other Sugar Ksh85...me give me the other sugar after all they taste the same.

Surely, that's what I was asking myself the other day. Will Mumias survive?
At 115-125/- per Kg while others are 78-85/- Kg ( imported)!!!!!

VWAP closes @4.00 and sits above first resistance target of 3.85 (the SMA50 level). 38.2% fibo extension from 3/- lies @4.15. Now consolidation then the next journey towards SMA100 @4.80.

But that 1yr extension doesn't give legs for a proper bull recovery. One yr is too short to fix the mess in this industry to guarantee constant cashflow and profits.

Its true. 1 yr is simply not enough. Any chance of a reversal to 3.00 incase excitement dies too fast

Putting cash in Mumias is pure speculation. Of course people will make money, but money will be lost also. This is a good one to trade the cartoons.
Life is short. Live passionately.

True. The success will be mainly pegged on the uptake and willingness of the farmers to be involved in dairy farming. If they are able to give good returns then it will be a huge success and eventually form a subsidiary profit making venture. Shida ni moja,, someone will definitely want to EAT!!!d'oh!

It doesn't matter the number of ventures they go into FIRST they have to sort their core business - sugar production (its name is mumias sugar so.) from ethanol, h20 ,now milk processing . All good ideas but mumias success will only come from its core bizz .am in it too but their strategies have question marks .

Ethanol, water, cogeneration are in line with the core business, but milk ...

... & si it sounds funny

Kebati was speaking at Emukhuyu village in Nambale subcounty where he gave one dairy cow to a prominent farmer, Consolata Namulanda. Busia Agriculture executive Moses Osia challenged the company to give more dairy cows to farmers to enable them produce more milk for the processing plant.
