Now firmly in uncharted waters while posting all time highs. That multi year resistance break was significant.

@philanga - remember that 9/- test is coming if 8.50 is breached.
$15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!

This Telkom Kenya unending saga is keeping mpesa banks bulls in charge.

I find really annoying that some gok auditor can come up with the firm's valuation of KES 333 billion (more valuable than mpesa bank's current market cap) yet the same gok audit office confesses not to be conducting audit on the same. This thing stinks so bad and tax payers need to be really pissed. I am sure this is an interesting unfolding case study of enterprise corruption at its best. I thought CMC was a stinker, but this one, with the sensitivity of the telco industry, the fallout will be spectacular when pandora opens that dustbin...

Safaricom is expected to be debt-free in the next two years, a position that could boost the firm’s dividend payout to shareholders.

On the flip side, others will regret not joining the bus on 9 or sub 9 bob when Safaricom will print 15 mid next year.
Things are looking up for Safaricom, there is room to grow.
