It has been a year+ since that last 4 were shortlisted. This a rerun after first tendering and the loser went to court...roughly 5 years tendering & re-tendering one thing.

Also the Menengai Geothermal wells under GDC have never been commercialized. I wonder why?. Too many well drilled and not attached to any power plant all over Olkaria & Menengai.


The public-private partnership it will be difficult to get a bidder at the current tariffs.I see at the end KENGEN will do the project on their own.

GDC should be folded and absorbed to be part of Kengen,currently they are just burning cash and increasing the country's debt burden since their wells aren't been commercialised.
They were in Olkaria,then Menengai now they are in Baringo drilling wells.

came down crashing today -9% with supply at 4 and still buyers are not coming- picked some hoping it will be back to 4.40 before books closure, that will be a good Christmas for me

I also picked up a few at 4 bob a share with my emergency funds. They are cum div so effective price is 3.7

Am comparing like with like. The 4 bob doesn't include all that.
