@ Impunity. Pole ndugu. When someone recommends a share,if u accept, accept the decision as you own. Because they will not share in your loss or profit. The investor's chief problem - and even his worst enemy - is likely to be himself

Segman was saying all the right things, the results were good and Puma showed up. Then, Segman entered into hedges he should not have, results tanked, fights with GoK and Puma bolted. Apologies! On Safaricom, I thought Airtel with their new owner (Bharti Airtel) would mount a challenge to Safaricom with new plans & products eg the 1/- calls, etc. Data is where Safaricom killed the rest. Of course, the foreign investors loved it. Again. Pole sana. Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett

I personally see Safaricom's next growth with LTE. they are coming into our homes via Internet TV.

The likes of Netflix, Amazon, Hulu and AppleTV are causing 'networks' jitters in the US. I expect Safaricom's push with 50Gb data bundles delivered to our homes to push more folks away from network TV. As @poundfoolish says the future is 'internet TV' but the final itineration is an unknown. Google has introduced YouTube Red. It is even installing Google Fiber in some areas. Some TV/Internet providers (in the US) allow users/subscribers to stream a movie on their TV & then continue watching it on their phones/tablets. This is done in one of two ways. Download the movie or stream it using a generous and fast data connection. Data is king. Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett

Data is king. i hope safcom discussions won't migrate to this kk topic "Don't let the fear of losing be greater than the excitement of winning."
