One easy read I'd recommend for everyone is Ishmael Beah's 'A Long Way Gone'

Easy, riveting read about the horrors of war based on personal experiences of a child soldier in the Sierra Leonean War

I often find myself reading two or more books at the same time. Recently I have been reading two books that I find uncannily similar, although their writers could not be more different:

1. The book of Joy, by Dalai Lama and Desmond Tutu (-The cameras are on us. Behave like a holy man -)

2. The subtle art of not giving a f*@ck, by Mark Manson (- In my life, I have given a f*@ck about many things. I have also not given a f*@ck about many things....like the road not taken, it was the f*@cks not given that made all the difference -)

Some more quotes:

"Discovering more joy, I am sorry to say, does not save us from the inevitability of hardship and heartbreak. In fact, we may cry more easily, but we lough more easily too."

"Don't hope for a life without problems... There is no such thing.Instead, hope for a life full of good problems."
