AGM ni leo (Sato 13/06).. Nani ana updates how it went?

Dividend proposed, ratified and PAID on the spot was Ksh.600.00 Per Share (600 Shillings per share)

Urithi / UNAITAS tag team made it possible to pay the dividend on the spot.
UNAITAS boss was the Guest of Honour and addressed the gathering (He has goooood stuff in store!).

Sights and sounds:
- AGM very well organized
- Superb pre-AGM entertainment
- Shedding the 'farmers' image in favour of a corporate image
- Membership drawn from all corners of kenya (travelled in teams and were acknowledged)
- Have recruited more than 150 marketers for the nyumba mia projects. Aim is to have nyumba mia projects in each of the 47 counties
- All marketers cut from the same clothe (the type that @swe revels smile )
- Superb catering; even after 2nd and 3rd helpings there was lots of good food left over
- Security was well covered
- Usual urithi branded handouts
- The pastor resigned

I hope Urithi reads this someday and pays me smile

Corporate governance, conflict of interest blah blah but hey! Did I mention that he was opening a 'big church' the day after the AGM? And all were invited. He also gave a very good sermon though TOEFL hawezi toboa! smile

I suspected as much.
The church is quite big hapo past Chania village.

But I think the main issue is most of the directors have started their own mini Uriithis.Glad to know they are thinking of Corporate governance otherwise something would have given in along the way.

All in all they are doing well so far.

@pesa nane...Sorry chief, but i don't mean to spoil the party...could you please shed some little light on the past of the director with the majority shareholding in urithi, if you are not the one.
...besides, the presence of a safe alone does not signify that there is money inside...
