Do you know in Roman catacombs early Christians are represented as black people. That the virgin Mary and baby jesus statues in France are black and negroid in features.

Would Christianity exist if the world knew Jesus was black?

I am truely surprised that none of you know that His description is in Revelation 1 : 13 - 16

None of any of those pictures have even come close to capturing what Jesus as described in the bible looked like.

If this man Solomon was guka then...

Songs of Songs 1:5 5

Dark am I, yet lovely,
daughters of Jerusalem,
dark like the tents of Kedar,
like the tent curtains of Solomon.[c]
6 Do not stare at me because I am dark,
because I am darkened by the sun.

But if indeed Jesus existed then he'd look like a typical middle-eastern man

A reason that quickly comes to mind is 'ease' of communication. Picture yourself on phone... one conversation with someone you know, who's attributes you can picture, and another conversation with someone who you can't quite place. A vague person. Which one is it easier to be yourself, open etc

Im of the opinion that this is a very very important matter and really touched that even some, who've shown disdain at religion are passionate about this. Today's sermon touched on 'Letting go and letting God'
