University of Rochester study using 63 scientific studies stretching back over decades has concluded that religious people are less intelligent than non-believers.
It's scientific. Your thoughts?
they even irritate lecturers because it ties to how they make out a simple argument. I think its believing that if you are religious God will give you(or gift you) with what you need, forgetting that he gives you intelligence to maneuver this world he created for us so you can get what you need.
I like using the example of food. We eat to live, no? Now can you create your own food? Yes you can buy nyamchom, vegs etc but can you physically put together the components that make up food? Okay then. You put the food in your mouth. How do you chew? can you make that tooth grind with another? Do you control the way your throat swallows? Can you stop a swallow half and reverse it? And when food gets to the stomach, do you control the amount of acid that is produced? Do you even make that acid? The absorption? the elimination of waste etc etc You get the drift.
You can do nothing for yourself! It is all by His grace that you are, as you are. Think of a little child who thinks now that they can tie their shoe-laces, they can go out and conquer the world.
