If God wishes to do away with the earth, what can man do?

But the Man God is at rest and at peace. After all, isn't this kind of being the ultimate?

But if man is simply looking for reasons to be alarmed, then let him know that he shall find plenty to cry about, and not till he seeks the Man God shall he find peace and rest.

1.Earth is not central in the universe, just another outpost with life in it.
2.Google the following;
<The principle of mediocrity>
<The copernican principle>
3. Everything that has a beginning has an end; four billion years ago, the earth came to be; sometime in the future-indeterminate, the earth shall end-go kaput, just like that; no bell curves, no happy endings, no, no.

4. There's nothing special about Earth with regard to rest of the universe--the good lord notwithstanding;if he made Earth, then he made everything else, ergo they're all special to him. . . Point is, we don't stand out.

If you folks were sincere, you're just afraid of what would befall you at such an end. The big picture is that whether you're here or not, time for Mr. Big Bang will come anyway, and your presence will be irrelevant to it. Suck it up and put the shut to the up. We're here, but we're only important to ourselves and nothing else.

Guys in the US,there's a Dr. Wise [i believe] who's an expert in past life. Has anyone heard of him meeting anybody who's past life was lived in another planet/galaxy or such a place other than earth?

i thought what was being discussed here is human extinction and not the extinction of the earth per se.

What happens when your pawn gets to your enemy's back rank?

What force takes the pawn there? (hint: Steinitz's 'lust' for 'expansion'?)

P.s. Since I am not answering this question for the first time, I have decided to have as many variations of the answer as possible. Now I am looking at the idea that chess has an esoteric meaning.

See, the trouble with us human beings is our exaggerated sense of importance. That's why we invent curious notions like heaven and the soul. We don't like to accept that in universal terms, we are a very insignificant minority.

I think we're going to consume ourselves out of existence one day. But so what? The galaxies won't even notice, and planet earth will likely just reinvent itself and give rise to smarter life. We won't be its first extinction. And certainly we won't be the last. But I'll be in heaven by then!

I agree with these sentiments..Natural slection is what it all boils down to...Understanding this concept makes life so much clearer.

some story says some people were actually aliens from a past life but don't believe the source so much, they are known for sensational but untrue news.
