@all
not all investors are rational investors, quite a number are driven by emotions are dont look at the fundamentals or undertake technical analysis b4 investing(buying or selling). most of the emotional investors a.k.a wanjiku's, invest in a select n.o of stock such as Safcom, Eqty,.. it is now these wanjikus that can drive a price rily high or lead it to a free fall.
at present a rational investor sld hold, buy, and sell.
1.)sell PART of your stocks that are stable or have lost by margins that are negligible. (this is only logical if ur not liquid n want to take advantage of a good bargain)
2.)hold & buy those stocks that have lost by huge margins n are traded mostly by wanjikus.

citizen tv news is that nse will start improving from next week, but i tend to differ. with the fuel price set to increase by ksh 5 and the japan earthquake, there can only be one direction.

citizen for business news - isn't that joke of the day? Their ticker tape on live NSE prices was showing NIC at 54 at some point last week when it was 50.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW !!!!!!!!!!!! @ thedeal. come slowly . iknow i was bullish on the n.s.e at the begining of the year ( and i had allot of reasons for that)but certainly i am no God over circumstances.
i never was middle east, drought, inflation etc etc etc coming.
what we need to do is play ball w/ what we have .
its really funny to think the market will shoot up next week.under what circumstances ??????
even though the current situation is just a slight bump in the long bull market road we have to apply different tactics to deal w/ such events as we have now.

It doesn't necessarily mean something is wrong, he still has 2.8 %. The article got me thinking, the phenomenal equity growth. The large shareholders reducing their interest. The bank has grown so much, no room for such growth rate in the future. I wonder if hfck could experience a growth burst like this.....

My sentiments are that friday's mini-rally was justa fluke. we should see more downward movement this week. But then again my sentiments could be wrong.Pray

I read 2012, why same time period as Transcentury, Britak. One viscious circle. Just to remind you some of these guys are shareholders at both transcentury & britak. True Equity deals with guys at the bottom of the pyramid but what always leaves me with alot of questions is their liquidity.
