It is always darkest before daylight.... They've just recruited a new CEO, a very experienced real estate developer (with lots of experience from USA) and his priority is to complete the Longonot gates project before embarking on the Makuyu one. I managed to get one of the last remaining 1/2 acre plots in the Naivasha gardens. Let's see what happens.
@Liv: Out of interest; what is the Naivasha value proposition? I'm curious. The land costs there surprise me.

The first phase for SGR ends in naivasha. It is expected that for some years substantial cargo destined for Uganda, DRC Congo, Rwanda, Burundi and South Sudan will be shipped to naivasha terminal for collection from there to these countries. Naivasha may turnout to be a huge warehousing town.
2nd Government intends to setup a big industrial park there near the geothermal power generation sites.... Where cheaper power will be provided as an incentive to the investors. If that materializes naivasha may turnout to be an industrial town.
I guess these could be some of the reasons land prices in naivasha continue to rise.

Instead of the 6 million per quarter of an acre,I can sell you plots 50*100 at 250,000 and still build a holiday home.3 acres at 5,500,000
Same area
Build your Longonot gate.
