I think Safaricom touching 19 while the index is struggling to break through the 3,800 resistance level is madness redefined. Doing 500M turnover....and counting....quite some more madness Bamburi also churning out serious volumes at the 175 level. @SufficientlyP

Madness is negative interest rate regime on trial in Japan and Euroland. What you are seeing is called flight to quality. Return OF capital is now a paramount feature rather than return ON capital!
If you can get quality now and at the same time get a return, you get a concentration of demand.
What is happening to NSE now is that the tide has receded and all the bad quality is now naked for all to see.$15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!

What is happening to NSE now is that the tide has receded and all the bad quality is now naked for all to see. Japan is a gone case. From NIR, to Kuroda struggling with Yen bulls, to them(BOJ) 'owning' N225, to a possible Trump that might 'make America great again' through keeping jobs in the US and you have an awful cocktail right there. @SufficientlyP
