Final figures ;110 management side gone + 99 unionisable;next phase coming soon; They managed this thing pretty well, took guys to Future planning classes actually all staff HAD to attend, the union negotiated that laid off staff have their medical cover run for the rest of the year + they were exempted from some tax ( will confirm this );then when you were called to get your letter you cleared with all departments to avoid guys who have been laid off coming back to the airport to clear.

209 sent home Vs expected 600 and pilots and cabin crew intact. Nothing doing here Sad Sad Sad

39 pursers were chujwad btw its only pilots who werent touched...

Out of the above, are there any from fuel procurement?

Your contract is about to be cancelled!!!!smile smile smile smile smile

Nope. Without an efficient fuel procurement then all the initiatives to turnaround the Company will be worth nothing. Fuel is the single biggest expense for an airline. Part of the reason why KQ was not able to operate bigger aircrafts is fuel purchased at exorbitant prices.

Aren't the 787 big craft.. Efficiency was the motivation

No they are notsmile

Have a look at the below. I am not the only one asking for fresh thinking. Do not mind about the paper that the opinion is published.

Quote:
The airline can only chart a whole new direction with a fresh team. There is a crying need for fresh blood with new thinking and ways of doing things. A paradigm shift that the airline badly needs will remain a mirage if the old guards, steeped in outdated style of management, are still calling the shots.

The most recently confirmed up trendline for kenya airways has an ending point currently at 4.05. Expect prices to have some difficulty falling below this trendline. A break below this trendline (particularly on heavy volume) would be a bearish sign.

also the most recently confirmed down trendline for kenya airways has an ending point currently at 4.62. Expect prices to have some difficulty rising above this trendline. A break above this trendline (particularly on heavy volume) would be a bullish sign.
