Did I read somewhere that having realized mt Kenya is up for grabs, some e.g. kuria are now aiming to inherit the mt kenya basket and possibly go fo the top seat come '22 - even if as a bargaining tool for post or pre election coalition building. So it's easy to connect recent public utterances...they want to be seen to be defenders of the region, to endear to the voters. These other team tangatanga mps have lobbied for projects in their areas and been promised financing. They have to be seen to defend their benefactor otherwise the projects will just stall

WSR will surprise people. The man who ran Chesire out of town into oblivion, denied Baba the presidency at the 11th Hour, has Kept MO_1 & sons under check , will not relent on the prize. I am sure he is praying to match up Baba at 76 in 2022.

I agree. If it's a race he's ahead of the pack. By like 6months - 1year. I don't know Whether the race is a sprint or a Marathon. If it's the latter, then nobody should start celebrating yet.

Folks, you are having bad dreams. I repeat. IT WON'T HAPPEN!!! This, I am so sure and ready to bet my balls! The unseen powers will not allow that "cornman" near statehouse.

When it comes to the top prize, you should temper your ambitions since enemies and obstacles only increase with time.
I can't wait to see the implosion in Jubiri...casualties will be many and widespread.

Best strategy in Kenya history has been to fake interest by (in-action and lies/words)..then unleash your arsenal just b4 the eleventh hour. The current frontrunner is only able to fake by words not actions coz everyone knows whatvtheyvdo behind closed doors at night, that's his only disadvantage. The dilemma for the others is to what extent you can keep quiet when your opponent is running full steam. By the way this is what led to 07'PEV. As Rao and team run the show in the runup to election, kibaki kept quiet all through - the weapon he knew best. since these other guys were so loud and all over the media, their supporters believed they were destined to win. When their expectations were not met the result was violence. We must avoid possiblity of this scenario in '22, tough balancing act

Jubiri was a special purpose vehicle for a specific assignment which was done and dusted. An sure even WSR has his ready for 2022. Otherwise, he cannot sit pretty and leave his fate on party choice matters to the likes of Murathe. The JP gang can easily pull a stunt on him last minute and deny him a certificate.

I'm in agreement with @guka here...
