Sober wrote:You tell the NSE has bottoned up when mwanahisa has nothing to say, market turnover goes up and the index breaks a new barrier. i am confused on what to believe as i have been thing for the last 2 months that we have hit the rock bottom. Sober, an increase in turnover to a paltry 134M (USD 1.4M) is nothing to write home about. And as hisah has said "3500 handle is proving to be slippery"

If all counters were teaming with safcom we would be past 3600,banks are more disapointing and i wish to see their prices when index lands to 3000 . "Don't let the fear of losing be greater than the excitement of winning."

Huge sell volume on equity and all the banks .This inflation is really screwing us ...

Yes equity bank has a sell order of 4,066,600 shares with a demand of only 649,900 shares. The downfall in the price of equity is also looking dangerous for the share price of HFCK.

Britank - still untanking... closes today @6.45 up 8.4% on volume fumes I want to see if the PPT will manage to take it back to 9/- That will be an interesting CFCI inverse reverse. Do not under-estimate the 'powers' of PPT. Indeed banks have interesting supply side... Kenol, supply building up and moves 7M shares today. Such volumes appeared in July and 12/- became 10/- $15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!

Investing on faith and hope that the kengen fx loan losses are profits...Ouch. LoL!! A H1 66% growth in unit sales should hedge that. Pple have been so caught up on the hydro that they forgot about the latest 120MW Kipevu thermal. Hahaha... Suckerrs! Lipeni stima. My big picture is still carbon credit earnings and that will be a good FX earner/hedge going-forward. The dividends I earn in the interim are just waiting fees

If Mumias can earn a 100M in C.Credits from a paltry 35MW plant which is more or less 50% available at any one time...then it is only logical that KGN will earn a lot more from its mega geo-thermal & wind plants...just selling AIR! LoL! What a racket.
