The case of Thomas Eric Duncan differed from the others; he was gravely ill by the time he was admitted to Texas Health Presbyterian
Hospital Dallas on Sept. 28, after being mistakenly sent home
from the emergency room three days earlier.

Now another UNMIL staffer contracts the virus and is flown to Germany for specialized treatment. Identity not yet revealed. UNMIL case

12 % of the DNA Differs Amongst Human Races and Populations

NOTE: @mkenya and @masukuma, I didn't say it is, I asked if it is a possibility science is not being used to do selective biological weapons along racial lines. Do you remember Bill Gates speech on human gene selection innitiative smile

genetic differences are not as simple as you have put them here. the DNA of humans differs very slightly from each other. the alelles that host these differences are possibly less than 0.5% of total DNA.
Chimps and humans have 98% genetic similarity
Cows have 80% genetic similarity with humans
mice have 75% genetic similarity with humans
Chickens 60% genetic similarity with humans
but as said - it depends on the measurement

perhaps the 12% differences being touted are assuming the 0.5% is the 100% and thus racial differences within the 0.5% account for 12% of the changes. something worth noting is that africans are more genetically diverse than any other 'race'. pick an aboriginal australian and compare them genetically to a nordic chap or even a native america or china man and the genetic differences will likely be less than between any 2 random africans - why? the group that left africa initially was a really small group and genetically very indiverse.

I didn't to provoke sir. I already made my point sir.

Information about a person's race may aid in diagnosis, and adverse drug responses may vary by group.[5] Because of the correlation between self-identified race and genetic clusters, medical treatments influenced by genetics have varying rates of success between self-defined racial groups.[51] For this reason, some physicians[who?] consider a patient's race in choosing the most effective treatment,[52] and some drugs are marketed with race-specific instructions
