Wow it been one year since the last post.

@Mawinder I want to congratulate you on your amazing achievements.
From your last post on this thread I noted you are a road engineer. Congratulations!
I also noted you are a used oil sales man obviously from the heavy duty equipment you utilize when leading kenya to vision 2030. Congratulation.

I also came to my attention that you are a sugar sales man. Again that you from helping farmers in western Kenya and else to earn a living. Without hard working Kenyans like you we would be stuck.

I am glad you did not use bribery, connections, people you know, or any of the unscrupulous means other Kenyans (not you obviously) utilize.

Congratulations and thank you for making Wazua and Kenya so much better!

@ Mawinder,
I hope you are still in Kenya and have not escaped to a better or worse place for that matter.
I just wanted to give you some feedback on the state of the roads in Kenya some of which you are proud to have constructed. The roads are still in excellent condition which goes to show the excellent workmanship you and your "entrepreneurial" quack road engineers can do.
I wish you the best of luck in your endevours and may a thousand desert fleas find solace in your but hole. May your balls have lymphaedema.
Wishing you all the best.
Stark.

I don't know why mawinder, a hardworking and enterprising kenyan is being crucified here. As long as he assembles a strong team of engineers and the necessary equipment (he could even hire), then he can do a road. The chairman and owner of Mt. Kenya University was a student at KU just the other day and has managed to assemble a strong team of professors (including his former VC Prof. Eshiwani) and good learning facilities and has turned the institution to be one of the leading universities. They are now out-competing old and established institutions like the UoN when it comes to sourcing for research grants. The owner, Mr. Gicharu did not need to become a Professor first.

As you can see it's all in the mind, dreaming big and working to actualize the dream. It is this enterprising spirit (and not tunaomba serikali nonsense) that has made the US to be the greatest nation on earth. So Mawinder should be encouraged, since he could be the next 'China Wing Yu'.

Our bad roads are not coz there were no civil engineers, its coz some guys decided to do a shoddy job to make a quick extra shilling. Mr Cowboy Contractor Number One is an engineer!

Dear Mawinder,

My humble apologies for a late reply. I took m ages to travel on our roads before I could get to my computer unfortunately I still use a desktop.

I have nothing against you personally, in fact I don't even know you( Thank you Wazua for anonymity). But from the speed in which you change professions, initially road engineer, used oil salesman, and then a sugar vendor. I can only suspect you are in it to make a quick buck and get out.

You unfortunately epitomize what is ailing our economy. You are not in any business long enough to build it to grow. You just want a contract make your cash and move on. In you greed you will cut whatever cost, bribe whoever needs to be bribed, lie to make get the contract. Once you get the contract you have to then bribe, cut cost, lie and generally do a shoddy job.

You are the filth, theoretically speaking, that is rotting this country from it core.

Nonetheless my little tirade will not get through foggy view of the world and you will probably just lump me as a hater trying to bring you down.

Now to answer your question. I was using probabilities. Most roads built by local contractors don't last and since your username is not lu, wong, or fong you probably are a local contractor and since you built you road in "record" time and got paid in equally "record" time you probably cut corners and did some shoddy ass shit! So you probably hired quacks!
