Greater eastern bypass starts at Devki steel plant in athi river, through Kinanie, crosses Kangondo rd @ Joska and joins the eastern bypass (under construction) just before Ruiru. From the lands map it reads "proposed greater eastern bypass" thus some details might change slightly.

announcement have not been made when to start the road though this depends on the government in place after 2012 .the objective of the road was to connect the industrial n agricultural thika n environs with Mombasa road.

I bought some plots in Joska a few yrs ago and when I went there last month I noticed that there is a road that has been graded. My guide told me this road leads to Lukenya then Daystar and all the way to Mombasa Road. Is this the one ?

i visited last month

the by pass land is already allocated next to mwalimu farm and is very visible...

btw mwalimu farm is 7 klicks from kangundo road and even that far in the by pass is recognised and used for grazing by cows, gazelles or zebras...

yes you read right.. in both site visits to mwalimu farm.. i encountered wild animals..
