@impunity I have reasons, realistic ones.
You see, the society should strive thrive to preserve human dignity, by looking at the family and its structures very important.
Bad things like theft, murder, adultery, fornication, homosexuality, treason, piracy, rape, terrorism, treason... the laws should be very strong.
I support death penalty to be applied by a court of law as punishment for the most serious of crimes as above. This will serve as a deterrent from harming individual victims, or threaten to destabilize the foundation of society.
And according to Islamic law, those crimes are punishable by death.
Why?
Because there is no excuse to do these things.
Because Islam encourages marriage early, it permits polygamy, it permits divorce because people can have problems, these things can be worked out and there are options for them. So if somebody goes beyond that, by engaging in corruption in society, or any kind of illicit sex, then this is treated as a grave crime.
And the punishment is very, very grave.
But now many societies like ours, where there is no rules, or where rules are not followed, or some individuals are above the law, you end up in situation where adultery, intentional murderer like our own Tom Chomley Delamere is accepted.
Bastard children are born, followed by street children and families, rise of sexual transmitted diseases etc.
Because people copy the West.
