The unending irresoluteness of Migingo another sad story depicting our inept leadership. That we can not get it over and done with is a clear indication of the many other critical issues that have and will remain pending for as long as we do nothing to our prevailing crisis. Its a pity really. What does it take,to echo somebody's sentiments,to say enough is enough?

The presidential oath of allegiance as spelled out in Constitution reads as follows: “I…do swear that I will be faithful and bear true allegiance to the Republic of Kenya, and that I will preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of Kenya as by law established. So help me God.”................................
The Second Oath of the President reads: “I… do swear that I will faithfully and diligently discharge my duties and perform any functions of the high office of President of the Republic of Kenya and that I will do right to all manner of people according to the laws and customs of the Republic without fear or favour, affection or ill will. So help me God.”.............................Where do these oaths talk about protecting our territories? I think they are badly worded!! We need an oath that will compel our prezzo to take care of our territories and if not he/she should be charged with treason...ama??

@Jah-man......but i as a citizen would have enough reason to take him to court and compel him to take action or be declared unfit to rule

Whats the value of trade between Kenya and Ug?
Who benefits the most?
Do you know any of the big industrialists in kenya who hail from the viscinity of 'the island'
Do the returns from the 'fish' compare to the returns from Kenya's industrial goods exports to UG?
Who was the only president on earth to congratulate MK after the 2007 election fiasco and u think he loves Rao n his kin?

therein ladies and gentlemen lies the answer!

My hypothesis is that our 'local leaders' wrangling has gone regional but at what cost?

You heard it from the President himself. Within the EAC,disputes to be solved thr peaceful negotiations and diplomacy. He made it clear that the contention will be solved by the joint Kenya Uganda border review commission. Indeed war is a very remote idea and borders on absurdity. After all, what to gain? A rock? What to lose? Precious war effort funds, business, cross border skirmishes due to enemity, possible state sponsored terrorism, possible civil war as guerillas harbour in Ug,kenyan businesses in ug will b in deep shiet, msa port supremacy wil b taken by dar,RVR wil b rendered a past tense, etc. Any modern man making war cries must be insane. Yeah,INSANE.
