Were any results altered in the past so that IEBC in Nairobi announced different results from what returning officers machinani had announced? Just as absolute power corrupts leaders, so does absolute fanaticism blind the people from logic

I am not masukuma but according to taifa leo. Quote: This means that the section of the Elections Act that gave IEBC the mandate to vary presidential election results submitted by returning officers at the constituency levels has been declared unconstitutional.
Quote: The judges have consequently ruled that a returning officer at the constituency level has the mandate to declare final presidential election results and that any other person seeking to have what will be announced altered should do that through an election petition filed in court.
mimi naona shida, if a returning officer makes a mistake, does iebc announce the same or do they stop the tallying and go to court first. Yes - the returning officer is final... that's the whole point of being a RETURNING OFFICER! there is not such thing as "the iebc" bila the ROs. So yes! Wacha iende kortini no operational persons should touch those results. The commissioners should announce them as give. Elections ni machinani. All Mushrooms are edible!
