Isn't interesting how you can tell whether a person is from nax by how he pronounces names of places and schools. Afraha... st. Joseph... st Mary ... Langa langa.

What about Jamhuri (Jamuu) nyuma ya station?

Is that Jamhuri behind Railway station? I thought Jamu is near lions[melvin jones]

Jamu is on that road from 58! depending on where "infront" of the railway is - you could think of it as being "behind". but Mene highschool is "behind" the station.

Exactly but I think he means the primary school near the mortuary on your way to medi!

Most Jacaranda trees were cut during road construction. But all open grounds were grabbed including kamkunji, afraha, all railway free spaces and posh houses during the error!

That Railway estate near the Nakuru North Cemetery, that was a nice neghbourhood to live.
I met my first true "fish" (A.N) while staying in that estate, but I never got the chance to eat it since their parents were transfered sooner to Molo.

A very nice mountaineer! Drool Drool

Those Jacaranda trees that dotted both sides of the road right from Nairobi road to the show ground...really nice.

But last December I got a depression while driving to Nairobi when the traffic was diverted from town to the show ground road...the place is no more. Litter dotted everywhere and the Jacaranda tress are no more, the few that still survive are chocked in endless dust.

The railway club is in a derelict state of abandonment.
